Terms of service

1. The King of Shaves Castle Advocacy Program (the "competition") promoter is The King of Shaves Company Ltd (company no. 6516049) whose registered office is at Suite A, 10 Penn Road, Beaconsfield, Bucks HP9 2LH, United Kingdom.

2. Daredevil Project Ltd trading as Duel is the software provider for the Advocacy Program (the "competition").

3. Employees of The King of Shaves Company Ltd or Duel or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

4. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older.

5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

6. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified.

7. The route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via iamthe.kingofshaves.com.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9. To earn points you need to complete tasks that are listed at iamthe.kingofshaves.com. No entry fee, no purchase is necessary to complete these tasks.

10. As you reach the points tier levels listed at iamthe.kingofshaves.com you will be able to unlock rewards and prizes.

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate rewards and prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12. No cash alternative to the rewards and prizes will be offered. The rewards and prizes are not transferable. Rewards and prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

13. The points tier levels and rewards and prizes are:

    Villagers Level
 Points required: x100

    Reward 1: discount code for 10% off any products from the online shop at kingofshaves.com. Discount code expires 31 December 2020. Discount code may be used once per entrant. Shipping not included.

    Prize draw 1: entrants are entered into a random draw to become an office King of Shaves Product Tester for new releases. Product testing is performed entirely at the discretion of King of Shaves.

    Jesters Level

    Points required: x450

    Reward 2: discount code for free King of Shaves Black Toiletry Washbag (worth £14.99) from the online shop at kingofshaves.com. Discount code expires 31 December 2020. Discount code may be used once per entrant. Shipping not included.

    Knights Level

    Points required: x1000

    Reward 3: discount code for 26% off any products from the online shop at kingofshaves.com. Discount code expires 31 December 2020. Discount code may be used once per entrant. Shipping not included.

    Reward 4: discount code for free King of Shaves K5 Five Blade Razor & 2 Cartridges (worth £5.99) from the online shop at kingofshaves.com. Discount code expires 31 December 2020. Discount code may be used once per entrant. Shipping not included.

    Kings Level

    Points required: x4000

    Reward 5: free product from new range coming February 2020. Discount code expires 31 December 2020. Discount code may be used once per entrant. Shipping not included.

    Reward 6: "An hour with the King". One hour 1-2-1 conversation by telephone, Skype or in person in London, UK, with the King of Shaves Founder, Will King. Entrant to cover all travel and other expenses if they wish to meet in London. Entrants will be offered a choice of x3 dates and times for their "hour".

14. Competition: "Win a trip for two people to Grenada". Entrants must have at least x4000 points. The entrant with the most points on-top of the 4000 minimum points for the Kings level on the competition closing date will win a x7 night stay for x2 people in Kingfisher Villa in Grenada. This includes economy flights for x2 people from UK (Heathrow or Gatwick airports) to Grenada, transfers from Grenada airport to and from Kingfisher Villa and x7 nights stay in x1 apartment in Kingfisher Villa. Not included are travel expenses to and from UK airport; travel or medical insurance; car hire, taxis, food, drinks, meals, excursions or other any expenses in Grenada. A refundable security deposit may be required. Trip must be completed by 15 November 2020. Availability of x7 night stay will be dependant on the availability of Kingfisher Villa.

15. Closing date for entry to the "Win a trip for two people to Grenada" competition will be midnight GMT on 31 July 2020. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

16. The winner will be notified by the email supplied within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

17. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

18. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: King of The Castle (Grenada 2020), The King of Shaves Company Ltd, Suite A, 10 Penn Road, Beaconsfield, Bucks HP9 2LH, United Kingdom.

19. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

21. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube or any other social network or company. You are providing your information to The King of Shaves Company Ltd and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at kingofshaves.com/pages/terms-conditions.

23. Entry into the competition will be deemed as full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
